that Void Parity is annoying, I had to look it up on youtube to figure it out. Mark Wipfler (author) from USA on May 21, 2014:ĬK Towles, yeah. Regardless, I'll be using this hub to master my new one. I've just purchased a new Rubiks Cube after my first one met an untimely demise in that it came lost a fight against a hammer. Now I finally solve a Rubik's cube and I enjoy doing so! :) Just peel the stickers off or pull the cube apart it will take the same time as sloving it if it is done neatlyįrienderal from Singapore on May 31, 2014:

I will probably try to give it a go, not sure how long it will take me though. This is excellent, I've never been able to solve one of these and I'd never seen a guide around neither. the 4th edge though in place is not in order. Well in my rubiks cube 3x3, the bottom layer has only 3 edges. Its very simple.I solve the cube in two mints Omg.Now I want to go buy one and try it! I have never been able to do it!.lol. Back then the one I had used stickers to color the sections, so of course I pulled them off and replaced them to cheat and solve the puzzle. This is the coolest, I remember when I was a kid messing with the cube for hours. I have mastered solving Rubiks cube when I was a kid but now I can't remember the trick. Thank you all so much, I have a lot of fun with this stuff!Īlicia Summers from Brooklyn, New York on July 31, 2014: Mark Wipfler (author) from USA on August 14, 2014: You've a way of writing compelling info that sparks significantly interest. but what if I actually have blue edges instead? how do I solve it? ): however for example, you used orange for the next one, saying that the edges should have any blue. Hi! thanks to your video, I managed to solve the first layer! i followed exactly with the colour green. thanks to your video, the messed up cube has returned to its original form! and years have passed and I got bored today so I took it out and tried solving it. Consequently, a corner has 3 colors, so its position will be between the centers that have those colors.I tried again and I managed to solve the cube omg! thanks so much to your video! I was just bored when I was young so I kinda jumble the cube and I couldn't solve it so I left it in the cabinet. For example, the edge that goes between the green center and the red one is the green and red edge, and being well oriented when its green color is beside the green center and the red beside the red center. To know the pieces position and orientation we focus our attention in the centers, which as we’ve said are fixed. Our objective is to put all the pieces into their correct place, and with the correct orientation. What I mean to say is that each piece is of one type and that type can’t change (an edge will always be an edge). If we rotate one face, we see that the centers stay in the same place, while edges change to positions where there were edges, and corners change to where there were corners. In total there are 20 pieces “moveable” (12 edges and 8 corners) in the Rubik’s Cube, being all of them different from each other. There are 12 edges in the Cube, each one with two different colors.
